Question about Alen C360 Portable Air Conditioner

My c360 model hasn't been cooling the room like it used to. I don't know what the problem is.

First thing to check is a dirty filter. Maybe a dirty coil behind the filter. Do you have good air flow?

How long does it take to let it cool down
If you don't open and close the doors and depending on the amount of food you have in the fridge and feezer, it would take several hours for this fridge to get to optimum temperature.

However, if after 12 hours it still hasn't cooled down, there is a problem.

If you want to pull fresh air into the room and not use the cooling part of the unit. pull the lever out. If you don't want to introduce fresh air into the room during the cooling cycle, push the lever in.

Delonghi pacl90. Lost manual, don't know what setting is best for cooling my house. I have a small 850 sq ft place. Should 1 side be blowing out hot air, and the other side have cool air?
Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to be able to find a setting to best cool your house. The model that you have, is a room air conditioner that only generates 10,000 BTU's and is only rated for up to 400 square feet. That's about half the square footage of your house. It simply will not cool your entire house.

To make the most of what you have, place the unit in a room where you spend the most time. Close the door to that room and only air condition it. To keep the other areas a little more comfortable, close the drapes or blinds during the hottest periods of the day. If you have a ceiling fan in that area of the house, run it a fast as you can comfortably stand, in a clockwise rotation. Generating a wind chill in the area that's not air conditioned will help make it more tolerable.

Air conditioner model # A6T12F2A REV. A is cooling ok for a 2 to 3 min. at a time then it kicks down and blow warmer air out almost like it is reading like the room is cool and stops cooling maybe...
leave the unit off for about an hour to let cool off its hot and kickingout on the over loads . this is probley realted to a power problem or low voltage problem in you area due to demand

Don't really get a clear idea of what you are asking, I assume you mean a window mounted unit.

The answer is... it depends. Not only does the cost of a used window mount air conditioner vary with condition, but also with the BTU rating and its energy efficiency.

A 12500 BTU window mounted air conditioner, in good working order (enough to cool up to a 400 square foot room on a sunny day with average insulation would probably be a fair buy in the neighborhood of 75-140 dollars if it was a fairly recent model. If it is over 5 years old, I wouldn't buy a used one. These things are made cheaply for the most part, they are installed over and over again year after year, if you take care of them they can last a good while, however most people don't get a great deal of time out of them without some sort of issue arising.

Outside condenser unit not functioning. I checked circuit breaker, not tripped. I can easily spin the fan with a pencil....
If the circuit breaker is not tripped (and you have line voltage to the unit) - and your inside blower motor is running - then your problem is with the thermostat/or the wiring from t-stat to outside unit.
Could it be you don't have the t-stat set on "cooling," or possibly not set at a low enough temperature to allow the unit to be turned on? Note: your t-stat must be set 'below' the inside temp, i.e. if the room temp is 78 degrees - you must turn the selector to below 78, i.e. 75, 74, so on.
Check your low voltage wire going to the outside unit - usually a thin brown wire which encases 2 smaller wires (usually red and yellow) that goes to the 'starter relay' inside the outside unit. Make sure a dog hasn't chewed it in - two - or someone hasn't cut it with a weed eater. If this is the case, turn the t-stat to off, and un-plug the inside unit (furnace) and splice the wires back together.
You can do this fairly easy with a pair of cutters and if the wires are 'color coded' you will know which wire(s) to splice back together. Note: this is 24V wiring but still you should make sure power is off - because 24V can zap you sometimes - AND you want the power off so you don't 'cross' the wires and short out the transformer.
There is a chance that the thermostat is bad - but it is not likely, and in any event you'd probably need a serviceperson to diagnose this.

No. You cannot use a 8GB SDHC card in the C360. The C360 supports MMC and SD cards up to 2GB in size.

Are you talking about a camper that is mounted in the truck bed? A truck doesn't have a living room. If your talking about the interior light check you dash board light dimmer control to make sure it hasn't been turned off.

C360 will not format 4gbsd card
The C360 uses MMC and SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into SD devices, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to use SD cards 2GB and smaller.

how to replace the water level sensor in an Alen How do I replace the water level sensor in an Alen C360 portable A/C? I have removed the sides and front panel of the unit. I assume the water tank is at the bottom of the unit but it has several copper pipes going into it so does not look removable. I have a new sensor unit but can't see how to open the water tank in order to replace the sensor. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. PS: The "Water Full" light is always on yet the pump seems to have pumped all the water out of the tank.
