Once a month bleach machine out and clean out soap and softner dispenser,so lets start cleaning you are going to need a powerful-pool shock and put 1/4 of the bag in the soap area, you well need to let it soak for 24hrs. cause you have mold in every inch of the machine. Now run the machine on cold water. After machine has gone through all cycles.Open door you may need to clean door seal with a old tooth brush, and you may need to lift seal to check underneath.after seals are clean and dispencer is cleaned were dispencer goes make sure its clean as well. after use always keep door open and dry out dispencer after each use.always use a 1/4 of a cup of clorox2 for HE. and clean machine out this should stop ths problem.

Remove black stuff from gasket

Sou8nds like you need a replacement r gasket. I would suggest taking it to a properly qualified and licensed repair technician (at their premises to reduce costs) and have them do a full and complete service that includes checking and testing all seals and gaskets. The reason for this is because if it's old enough for one gasket to be shot, then chances are the others will need replacing as well.

How to maintain your refrigerator door gasket.

One of the most common problems with a Refrigerator is the door gasket torn and falling off.
I can't tell how many homes I have been in and seen the door Gasket on the Refrigerator falling off, especially at the bottom. Its a very simple
maintenance remedy that most do not think of or have ever done.
What happens almost always is that sticky stuff (syrup, jelly.cokes,
orange juice, etc. spill down on the lower door and gasket and then dries.
Guess what? When you open the door the gasket is stuck to the fridge
and it pulls the gasket a little each time until it pulls off.
Its very simple ,once a week or so to take a warm wet rag and clean
the gasket all the way around and also the ref base then gasket seals to.

Have black oily film appearing thru out the

I have had a similar problem on a Bosch. Don't know where it comes from, except to say the bottom door gasket appeared to be melting for some reason. I replaced it with a new one, and no signs of melting after about 3 months.

I was able to clean the black smudge from various parts of the dishwasher using Berryman's Chemtool, a carburetor cleaner available at the auto parts store. Use in a well ventilated area. Am certain naptha or other cleaner would work as well, but again, use sparingly and with plenty of ventilation. Rubbing alcohol would not cut the stuff.

Let me know what you find.

Mold build up around ribber gasket . Heavy, black and hard

Front load washers are notorious for developing mold/mildew to build up because they retain a lot of moisture in the round gasket the door closes into. Wash it down with a 50:50 soulution of bleach and water. You may have to use a brush on the "hard" stuff. Occasionally, run a quick load with no clothes and just bleach through a complete cycle in the washer. After a heavy day's washinh, leave the door open a little to help dry it ou.

Referator doors are hard to open

When you shut the door there is a vacuum occuring and causing the doors to be hard to open. Take someting like a popcicle stick, break it in half and put them together, one on the other and tape it to the gasket at the bottom of the ref side door. This will make a vacuum break and should make the doors easier to open. Also, make sure your gaskets are clean, no sticky stuff on them or the frame.

Black stuff in the bottom of the dishwasher

That black or gray stuff you're talking about is actually a combination of old food particles and soap deposits. The stuff builds up in the corners of the lower front areas of the tub and right under the inside of the door where it closes over the tub front. These areas can develop "scungy" deposits because these are areas that the dishwasher doesn't always clean and/or water remains pooled. A little routine cleaning about once a week around the bottom lip of the door and the door gasket with a damp sponge will prevent this build up. Hope this helps you.
