Need an installation CD for my Lexmark 2600 printer

hello, I am asumming it is Lexmark X2600 model, below you will find drivers for all supported windows/apple/linux drivers.

It can be installed with out the CD. If you are running windows VISTA, they have a pretty large driver bank. If you are running XP, you'll however need to download the drivers...

Just go to the Lexmark homepage and download the driver for it.

Drivers and Downloads - Lexmark

pop in to the above and select your o/s etc and download fresh drivers .


uninstall any other drivers you may have installed for your printer clean them off and try a fresh.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printerdoes not work on Vista, if you do not find any driver download for Vista on your model page, that means your model is not Vista compatible.

Look for the driver on this link select the one suited for your operating system
