Hello,

is it that the DVD is not powering on, or its refusing to play discs?

Remove the player again, cross check to make sure everything is intact, and try again. Its should be something minor since its was working perfectly before you removed it.

Take care.

it refuses to power on, do you know it this devise has a anti-theft feature that is not letting me hook it back up.

  • Wale Sarumi KomputerSolution

    Hello,

if it refuses to power, then is should be a power related problem. Check if there is power entering into the player from the battery. Also check if there is no wire disconnection.

I don't think its an anti-theft issue. Power is not entering into the player, that's why its not powering on.

You can check you fuse box, if now fuse is blow. Also, trace the wire from the battery to theplayer.

    Good luck.

Since the screen was loose, the wiring to the screen might have been detached due to the shakes from the car. Give it a check.

Please make sure that the POWER SELECT switch is set to the correct position.
That is A: If the car has an accessory position on the ignition key.
and B: If the car has no accessory position on the ignition key.
NOTE THAT: A is the factory present position.

When the POWER SELECT switch is set to B: Press POWER ON THE PLAYER to turn on. The player WILL NOT turn on by pressing POWER on the CARD REMOTE COMMANDER.

Be sure to turn off the player after driving your car or it may cause Battery Drain.

I just did mine and I added a toggle switch to it to get it to work since it...

just run the parkingbrake wire into one side of a toggle switch, and grond the other side of the toggle switch, When the WARNING pops up on the screen, just flip the toggle on then off then hit OK on the screen, Youll be good to go

DVD Stuck in player

Found out what my problem was - 2 DVDs were in the unit - need to take unit out of car (very easy - 5 mounting screws, 2 plug in power connections), remove some brackets from within the unit to get to the DVD itself and then just pull the DVD out - took me less than 1 hour - and I am not tech savvy or mechanically inclined by any means
