I am looking for repair parts for an Avanti W1092, specifically the damper shocks springs. Does anyone know where would be a good place to look? I did call the US rep in Miami and they had a couple of things.

This might help. However you could try putting the damper door in without the spring and moving it through its open and closing to see what is near the door the spring could hook to. Look for small holes or tabs.
it has struts in front and shocks in rear have a professional do a front end alinement and check strut and shock perfomence they may have to road test.
Usually, the damper system has dislodged or misaligned causing this problem. Open the top and shake the outer drum assembly to find the offending part(s). Repair is usually simple unless something has broken loose. A mounting bolt may be lying on the floor under the machine. Good luck!
Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that... 1. They are there and mount is solid. 2. If they are broken in 1/2. 3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken. 4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.
Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.
Replace/repair as necessary.

I have a 1998 Deville and both rear coil springs are broken.. It also has the air shocks that I dont think work.. Can I put regular shocks in and is there a after market coil spring out there for it ??
Try lifting the inner drum to check if there is any movement between the inner and outer drums, also turn the drum and listen for any grinding or scraping sound from the rear of the drum. Its possible that your bearings have gone out & need to be replaced. The job is far from easy.
