Six weeks back, I took my LG TV flat screen back to the shop where I bought it for repairs. The problem started one morning when I switched it on.IT produced a funny sound like a sound of a clock.I then switched it off and tried again after 3 to 4 hrs.The same sound was there and even louder. The next day I tried again and there were sparks of orange like colour.I decided to take it in since it was under guarantee. They send it to LG Workshop.I kept asking for it and I was constantly told they are waiting for a part or a tube.Last week I was told I will get it on Friday. Then I phoned again on Monday and they said I will get it today.Later on today, I'm told LG Manufactures can't get it right.
I do not have any suggestion but you need to keep pushing them on the repair. This is the same company that is used to be called Gold Star from the 70's. it made a lot of cheaply made products like VCR's and TVs. They changed the name to LG (Lucky Goldstar, not much better than the old name) later on, who will want to buy LCD TV, and appliance with th name like Gold Star, Lucky Goldstar?
It looks like it never improve its products quality and services, new name with the same junk.
Testimonial: "Thank you so much.I feel relieved now.I don't think I need that TV anymore and luckily they called late yesterday and asked me to come and choose a new one. This time I will know what product to choose.I wish people could meet expects like you before we make choises."
