Hello everyone I have great news. To clear the out of range error code just remove the handset from the base, hold down the end key and the # key at the same time. It will say deregistered completed place the phone on the base. Your problem is solved. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MyUniden handsets all state "Out of range". Any ideas? I tried pressing the end key and # key down together. Did not work.

I have a new GE DECT 6.0. It works at times ,but most of the time it says OUT OF RANGE although its sitting in the base unit.

I have a twin GE28111 cordless phone set, also was working fine and now says "out of range" while in the base. The other phones in the house work fine.
phone is froze, out of range cannot operate. any suggestions? does any one have a customer service # ?
