My asrock k7vt4a-pro motherboard did not detect IDE hard disk whats the problem

You may have to unzip the file before installation.
Do you use the right type of ram ??
The ram module could have a defect.
Have you insertet the cpu properly ??
You can maybe try with another AGP graphic card.
Or the card is not insertet in the slot properly.

Remove the graphic card and try to clean the contact points
on the card with a piece of paper.
I guess its just a bad connection or the card is defect.

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

You need to ensure if the hard disk is compatible with the motherboard.

1) Ensure you are installing DDR400 /333/266 non-ECC, un-buffered memory.

2) The bios may be out of date.Put back the 256MB module and do a bios update.

Disconnect the power from the diskette-drive, from the disk-drive, and from the CD/DVD devices. Then, try to start your computer.
If it still fails, then try a different power-supply.

not usually No.
You need to setup the Pc with an IDE drive First. Then load The Sata drivers, usually on the setup CD. ( obtained with motherboard )
Alternative, is to create a SATA/Raid boot Disk et,c.
