Oatmeal cookies
Makes 20 cookies
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
dash of nutmeg (optional)
dash of ginger (optional)
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper or spray with non stick spray.
In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat butter and both sugars until fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla until well blended. Combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, baking soda, salt, baking powder and in a bowl. Stir into butter mixture. Gently stir in oats until well blended.
Shape dough into rounded golfball-sized balls (about 2 Tbsp. each). Place on prepared baking sheet . Flatten with the bottom of a measuring cup dipped in sugar.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet 5 minutes before removing to rack to cool completely.
Counter clockwise should decrease it. Just turn it 1/4 turn each time and check it after it makes another batch of ice. Then reread this post and do it again till it's the way you want it.
if the compressor is running your ref. should be getting cold. Their is a defrost timer but when it is in defrost the compressor shuts off. I think you do have a leak.
in most refridgerator cabins is a air dam at top right of side by side and it could be sticking open and working other times or it could get stuck in defrost cycle due to defrost timer not working properly.defrost timer would be first thing to look to.
For the GE refridgerator, the model GTS22 is an incomplete model number. That is actually the series number. Your actual model should be followed by 5-7 more letters, as in GTS22FBPBRWW. The full model number denotes dates, dimension, color, etc. You can find the full model number in one of two places: A) Upper front left corner of the food compartment B) Left side of the crisper pan on the food liner (with storage drawer open).
Once you find the correct model number, it is important to decide exactly which parts you need. Each door shelf comes in 3 pieces. You have two end caps (left and right) and then the front piece. For the bottom shelf, the end caps are different than the caps for the top and middle shelf. Also, do you need the dairy door and the butter dish? A schematic drawing can be most helpful.
When you know which parts you need, you can go online to www.partstore.com or call toll-free 866-925-PART (7278).
Refridgerator is 5 years old. Simply went out of cooling and freezing. Still makes operating sounds and lights work but losing our freezer full of food is disturbing on a refer only 5 years old. What could be wrong?
