I have an LG refrigerator, model # LSC26905TT, and one of the handles is loose and I can't figure out how to tighten it. I've tried taking the plastic caps off of the end of the handle to get into it that way, but I'm afraid I'll break the caps while trying to get them off. Is that what I'll need to do? Also, the refrigerator is level, but the doors swing open if you don't hold on to them, and won't close by themselves.

Pry off the covers carefully and tighten the screws. The covers will come off. You can even place a thin piece of cardboard between the screw drive and the refrigerators surface so you wont scratch it. Hope this helps

I had this problem with the bottom freezer door of my Amana.
What I did was slide off the entire door handle by applying pressure pushing toward the right to get the handle off. Once the handle was off, I slid the clip (which was still clipped on to the door) off and screwed it back on to the handle. Once the clip was tightly secured to the back side of the handle, I carefully slid the handle bar back on to the door by sliding it to the left back on to the door clips until it clicked securely back into place.

There is no adjustment for the door handles.  The brackets are metal pressed and if they become loose, it is recommended that they be replaced.
