Nozzle check is fine? I am not sure. Check again. There is transverse and vertical lines. Is it perfect? Turn off printer, move head to center, put wet tissue with hot water at head cleaning mech. (pad). move head to parking position, wait for 15 minutes, repeat for 3 times. Check nozzle.
First of all turn the printer off & disconnect all of the cables. Turn it over and give it a shake, you'll be amazed at what gets inside the feed hopper. Next try a stiff piece of A4 card (the backing from an A4 notepad for instance), feed the card into the paper feed and push it through quite hard to overcome the spring resistence. Once it has started to go through open the lid and check if it has pushed anything through the rollers. Feed the card all the way through the mech and pull out of the front. Hopefully the card will have cleared the paper path of any objects and reseated the sensors.
Good luck.
Ok.. aside from the fact that you've posted under the R300 Epson model thread you're still in luck.
The CX6600 has been documented (by me admittedly) with a complete guide to fitting an external tank and resetting the waste ink counter in the printer.
Hi hope to help.
if you slide the ink tray to the left (to do this you may need to turn on the machine then off again when the tray starts to move un plug the printer from the mains!!) look under where the tray was on the right hand side you may see a clear rubber pipe? on mine the pipe was split i just cut the split then reconected it now works fine hope it will for you!!
Hope that helps you!!. Sean.
Yes I had a similar problem and in fact returned my printer for a replacement. You need clearance as the CD tray emerges some 2.5 to 3 inches behind the printer. If the tray hits an obstacle it is unable to correctly line up for printing and the trat is rejected
Change the paper settings in the driver when you go to print. If you have it set to 10x15 it will only print a 10x15 patch in the corner.
Go to START, PRINTERS AND FAXES then right click on R300 and select PROPERTIES. Click PRINTING PREFERENCES and set the correct paper properties. Click OK all the way to desk top and the settings will be saved.
On the printer panel press ADVANCED, scroll down 3 times to PAPER SIZE and press OK. Select A4 and press OK.
You need inividual nozzle cleaning with cartridges out of the machine.
take a look at www.fixyourownprinter.com
also down load the Epson utility from www.ssclg.com
Did you run the head cleaning cycle from the computer or from printer? are you using epson inks? what operating system are you using?
