Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with unplug the oven and plug it back after 10-15 minutes, if still the issue is not resolved then the control panel has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

How to reset Sauter oven SFE950XI

    • First, disconnect the oven from the power supply by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker that powers it.
    • I believe to reset the Sauter oven SFE950XI after a power cut when you see 3 flashing LEDs (Auto grill light, cooking time light, + light) you will use the following steps below:
      • Wait for at least 15 minutes to allow the oven to cool down, and to ensure that any electronic components have completely discharged.
      • Reconnect the oven to the power supply and turn it on.
      • Immediately press and hold the "-" (minus) button until you hear a beep.
      • Release the "-" button and then quickly press the "+" (plus) button.
      • Use the "-" button to select the hours, and then press the "+" button to confirm your selection.
      • Use the "-" button to select the minutes, and then press the "+" button to confirm your selection.
      • The display should now show "d:00" (with the "d" standing for duration), which means the oven has been successfully reset.
If this process does not work, it may be necessary to refer to the user manual or contact a professional technician for further assistance.
Let me know if it works for you thank you.

Technika Freestanding Oven TU950TLE8

Nice Australian cooker but an unknown make to us here in North America.

Clocks always flash when you cut the power to inform you that the clock is incorrect. Perhaps you had a power cut in the night. If you have tried to set the time and can't, you may have a sticky button.

I have a stove built in oven and had a power cut and it keep flashing 8888 and wont work

Hi.

After power cuts most ovens need resetting, for this reason 00:00 is flashing. The operation is described in the specific model's user manual. Most ovens reset either pressing or holding down for few seconds a Clear or On button, or holding down the main control knob.

We had a power cut, now I can't get the oven to work the auto light is flashing but when I turn the knob for the oven it won't come on.

You need to reset the oven from auto to manual setting.
This is done by pressing 2 or more buttons on the timer at the same time to reset it, until you do this, the oven will not work

I replaced the flash timer on my oven and the power still does not come on what else could it be???

Is the electronic timer in the manual mode?
Is the element faulty?
Poor connection at the oven element terminals?
No voltage output from the oven thermostat control?
The oven thermal cut-out switch has operated and cut all power to oven?

My question concerns a Kenmore glasstop electric oven (model #790.95200100). While operating the oven at 450 degrees and the back right burner at level 5, I heard an audible "pop" and saw a flash of light...

After letting the stove cool, I pulled the entire unit out from the wall and discovered scorch marks on the wall. Opening the back panel revealed a simple fix: the "element on" light module had shorted and was visibly scorched and melted. Looks like a simple replacement (and some wire stripping where the leads fused). Stove currently works with the affected wires capped off (while I await a replacement module).

Is 10mm cable ok from 4kw oven to connector unit

A bigger cable size (larger diameter conductors) will not affect power requirements of the stove. (A smaller one definitely will)
