NG Pajero radio cassette wiring

I am replacing the mitsubishi radio and cassette with a phillips radio cassette and have two extra wires on the pajero harness. one is green with white stripe (Earth I suspect) and the other is black with a red stripe. On the Phillips radio I have two wires left. One for earth and the other for a power antenna, which the pajero does not have. When I check with a multi meter on the live wire to the green/white wire, it reads 11.96V and with the live wire to the Black/red it reads 0.07V My question is this : is the green/white wire the earth and the black/red the power antenna?

The green/white wire is the earth - the earth to the chassis gave no resistance when tested with the multimeter to the car chassis. So it was a pretty good bet that the green/white wire was the earth as suspected. The radio cassette works a treat. Yipee!

Mitsubishi pajaro 2006 radio is not working is that fuse causes it?

A non-functioning radio in a Mitsubishi Pajero 2006 could indeed be caused by a blown fuse. I recommend checking the fuse box for the radio and inspecting the radio fuse. If it's blown, replacing it may resolve the issue. However, if the fuse replacement doesn't fix the problem, there could be other underlying issues with the radio or its wiring that may require further diagnosis and repair by a professional
