OK, i dont have any software for my airplus xtreme G, but it was working for a while. I used it for my PC, Laptop and Xbox360, now all of a sudden it doesn't work. I'm not a Computer person so plz simple answers! OK, sometimes it would freeze up, and all the lights would go on, and stay on, so i unplug, wait, then plug it back in, it would work. Now it doesn't do that, it stays frozen, also the WLAN light never comes on. My setup was Modem-Router, router-PC/360/laptop. My PC doesn't detect it nor does my Laptop, and i cant connect via Xbox live. Help plz! Also, when i was able to connect, the lights wouldn't stay lit up, they blinked like crazy, problem?
Hey, thanks for all the great help and sticking with me although i know i can be annoying, cuz usually i dont know what im talking about, but i picked up a new router and i set it up and we're good. Once again THANKS!
OK. First of of all, the only light that should stay solid on your router is the power light. All the others are activity lights. They show network traffic through the connections. Second, if you're going to power cycle the router it's a good idea to power cycle the modem as well. Just so you know, I know they sell and promote all kinds of wireless things for xbox 360 but it's best to run it with an ethernet cable. Better results. So, try this: Unplug your modem and router, wait about 60 seconds. When all the lights have come back on the modem (excluding the activity light ) plug in your router. See what happens and let me know.If this fixes your problem, please rate this as fixed. If it did not, then don't rate it yet. Just add a comment and I'll be glad to help you further. Thanks.
When you say say "reset" the router, do you mean power cycled? Because reset means something different just in case you didn't know. When you reset a router it wipes out all your settings and returns them to factory defaults.Let me know and I'll you the next step because it makes a difference what you did. Thanks.
Ok. Sorry for not getting back to you. Had some personal stuff going on. Did you read the manual or call D-Link to find out how to reset your router? Do you know that if it is not properly done you can damage the roter. That's why I always suggest trying a power cycle first. So you actually went through setting up the router time after time when you reset it? What a trooper! Ok. Look on the bottom of your router. Give me the exact model # and firmware # and it should say what revision it is: like rev a, rev b,etc. Give me the answer to those things please. And if you aren't sure about the correct way to reset the router tell me now and I'll tell you how to do it.

Also, when i unplug the router, wait, then plug it back in, the lights all go on and it freezes up, so i have to reset it
