Hello, Nikon Coolpix 8100 camera. Battery has difficulties loading. light blinking at back stops aft. several minutes, then beep, and start blinking faster. Blank screen confirming battery is empty.

The behavior you describe is a camera connected to a computer and it changes WHILE the computer sees the camera and it is ON (computer). When you shut down the Computer it will blink rapidly and it will not charge. if you charge with POWER ADAPTER. It will only BLINK while it charges. When it STOPS blinking it is FULLY charged.

The Toshiba Tecra A8 S8413 laptop cmos battery (or capacitor?) does not seem to be working. Symptoms: I set the date and time. As long as the laptop does not sleep or go into power save mode the clock...

The RTC (Real Time Clock) battery charges when the computer in on (operating). You can plug the electrical cord in and let the computer run for 24 hours by temporarily suspending any sleep mode or automatic power saving features. This should sufficiently charge the RTC battery.

Há alguns arquivos que faltam às suas necessidades Tecra 8100 para executar, ele trava no botão de menu porque ele está procurando por arquivos de menu e software que está no seu arranque do programa.

My Tecra Toshiba will not turn on or off, even plugged in.

Yes it is. And, it is highly recommended that you remove the battery if you're going to use your laptop for more than 1 hour. If you keep your battery in and have the laptop connected to the adapter, the poor battery is going to be charging/discharging so much that its life is greatly shortened. Also, this is what causes dead cells in batteries.
You might possibly have an internal power supply problem.
But, go ahead - remove the battery. See if it helps.
You also might try letting the battery charge for 3 hours with the laptop off.

Tecra 8100

The battery is rechargeable, you should have received an AC adapter when you purchased the laptop.

Toshiba Tecra 8100 PIII laptop not booting

It could be a hard ware isuse. Try this.

If you have extra memory or removable Ram ( usually located on the bottom under a panel) Try removing it and starting it, with the ram removed. Then try putting it back in and starting it. If it works, it may be bad memory or it just needed to be reseated. Do this also with the cd drive and wireless card if it is removeable.

also try this with the battery, plug it in and remove the battery and see if it starts.

alot of laptops, like computers will not boot if there is a hardware issue.

The Beeping is a code. The number of beeps and how it beeps usually indicates an issue.

you could look the beep codes up on the toshiba website is the support center.

Good luck.
