Sony kp 51ws510 upgrade to HD - how to do this

There are inputs on the back of the set. If your tv is Sony 51ws510 then it is capable of HD, but you have to have component or DVI cables to connect the tv to the HD device (HD cable box or DVD player).

On your set the component inputs on the back of the tv are video5 and video6 in the middle located in a vertical line (red, green, blue rca video connections with red and white rca audio connections).
You also have a DVI input toward at the top of the input panel (white connector with red and white rca audio connectors).

Need the code for the remote for a sony kp-51ws510

You need a Sony original remote--even a Sony universal will not access the menu.

With the Sony remote (Almost any Sony projection remote will work) you can adjust in the customer mode or enter the TECH menu for fine adjustment all over the screen.

If you get one and do not know how to enter the TECH menu--let me know and I will tell you how to do it and adjust there.

If this has helped you rate this solution as I do this here for free.

Color issues

This is a convergence problem that can be as simple as poor solder connections at the convergence ICs to defective ICs. Can you solder? If so, let me know and I'll provide additional instructions.
