Can't remember, but I believe you should have a fault programme which can access to run a self check?
All in one means able to send a "Fax".
If I'm right you have two settings for faxing, either entering doc in to tray or placing on scanner to be copied then faxed.
If so and you are able to fax to anoth er fax number see if you can send fax via your scanner. I'm am trying to find out if your scanner then starts up, strode lights up and copies, least you know important bits are working.
If it does light up, chances are present prog is not vista compat. Go to
www.hp.com enter your printer details search it will come up with latest updates and full progs, look for the vista prog. Good Luck.
I have the same problem. I have the latest drivers for the PCI SoftData fax but see no fax device available in Vista. How do you create a fax device in Vista?
Well the scanner/printer/copier and the fax are relatively unrelated :P how is your fax machine hooked up?
