Open the door on the right. The brew unit is the thing with the handle that has the "press" on it. You need to push on the upper left side of the brew unit until it clicks. There is an outlet spout on the opposite side of where you are pushing. It goes into an intake port that needs to be lubed, so the outlet spout will slide in without pushing back. That should take care of the missing brew unit.

Saeco Royal Cappuccino Brew unit dumping grinds into machine

It sounds like the brew unit might need to be serviced or replaced. The funnel not lining up properly could indicate a problem with the alignment mechanism or the gears that control the movement of the brew unit. You can try cleaning the inside of the brew unit, checking for any obstructions or damaged parts, and reassembling it carefully to ensure everything is properly aligned. If that doesn't work, it's best to contact a professional for assistance. Saeco authorized service centers or repair shops should be able to diagnose and fix the issue.

Miele CVA 620-1 - Brew Unit Block NOT the problem (I think)

anyone know how to reset the male brew gears on the Miele CVA 610 as they currently do not align with the brewer. I have tried the service options to reset to home but the gears still do not align with the brew unit. I reviewed the answer above for the CVA 615 however there is no equivalent connector JP34 on the microprocessor board of the CVA 610 to disconnect. Does anyone know how to force a reset

Gaggia brera brew group wont go back in

If you close the machine without the brew unit inside, the gears aren't aligned anymore. I tried to put the machine off and then back on. You can hear the gears turn. After a couple of repeats, I was able to put the brew unit back inside.

After removing brewer group for routine cleaning, i can't put it back. I had performed removal/insertion several times before, no problem. Arrows are aligned. Everything seems fine.

Hi. On the back of the brew unit( unit facing inwards when installing) I think, has a SPOUT which moves up into the injection pipe when its brewing coffee. Well on this SPOUT is a tab that locks the brew unit inposition when your installing it. If that tab has been moved while cleaning, it will not allow you to install the unit. The SPOUT with the tab on it, only moves oh so slightly to be out of position. Dazza REPAIRER

I have a cva coffee machine it seems like the brew unit is jamed it makes a buzzing noise like it is descaling itself , I have cleaned it and checked the shoot for alignment it makwes the noise and then...

F73 is a bad brew unit. The cva 4070,4075,4060, and 4066 are designed to use espresso beans.
If you use an oily bean such as Starbuck's french roast, it will clog the filter in the top of the brew unit. If you catch it in time, you can just replace the brew unit. If you run the machine with a clogged filter long enough, you have to replace the brew unit and gearbox together.
Sometimes if you work with the tech support department, they will send you a brew unit to install yourself. If you live in an area that has Miele factory support, you may just want to get a service call. It is very important to rinse the brew unit every 24 hours, and to use the cleaning tablets in the trap door( not the descaling tablets) if not, the coffee oils build up and turn into a tar that will clog the brew unit. They run about 300 dollars so they are worth doing the maintenence on.

Gaggia Platinum Swing Brew group will not relocate into position. I have checked all the alignments of the movable parts, but just will not relocate into position. Seems to be a problem with the alignment...

Sometimes if you, turn the machine on without the unit in place it will reset itself, and if on the brew unit the arrow is pointing to the N, then you should be fine, however if the arrow is doing its thing and the gears do not line up then you might have to take it in to get it reprogrammed.

Brew unit wont go back in in seaco incanto

There is a flag on the back side of the brew unit. Below the flag are 2 plastic bars that the flag slides in. Push in between the 2 bars and see if the flag will drop. If it does holding the brew unit with your right hand, take your left hand and place it on the bottom left side of the brew unit, then with 2 fingers reach up inside the bottom and grab the bar in the center and squeeze the bar to the left. This will bring the cylinder back into position and align the 2 triangles on the front of the brew unit. Once they are aligned push the lever to the right to lock up the brew unit. Leave the brew unit out, but everything else in place, then turn the machine on. Once
the machine is settled open the door, remove the drip tray and then insert the brew unit, drip tray and close the door.
