How do i remove the handle of my whirlpool fridge?

Check with supplier first but almost all fridge bodies are made for reversal

I can only guess because I don't know your model number. At the bottom of the fridge at the front there should be a round knob or handle about 2 to 21/2 inches, you should be able to turn this and pull out the long filter tube, take the number off it and get a new one.

Look at the top and bottom of the handle. There should be a plastic end cap you can gently pry off exposing the screws to remove and tighten the handle.

It may take up to 24 hours.

Call Whirlpool. The number should be on model tag inside freshfood. Either upper right or upper left.

Hi, Most newer models have a screw behind the plastic cover on the handle. Take a good look at the handle and see if the cover can be removed. It should just snap on. If not, please get me you model # and I can assist you further.

To change the door opening side, you will have to do the following.
Move the hinges to opposite side. There should be a plugs in the holes for the new locations. Carefully remove them without damaging them. They will be re-used in the opposite side.
Remove the door and hinges. Install the hinges and door on the opposide. Insert the plugs in the
holes left from removing the hinges.

Carefully remove the plugs for the new location for the door handle.(You will reuse them)
Carefully remove the trim at the top and bottom of the handle. Now remove the screws and move the handle to the opposite side and install. Install trim top and bottom. Put the handle plugs in the holes left from the handle removal.

and click on your model number. The new window will have an assembly diagram of your unit. Click on the diagrams on the left-hand side for different views.

Yes you change which side you want the handle You have to remove the plugs that are at the top of the fridge and at the the top of the doors. And also at the bottom. Exactly where you have the dorrs conected now look at the opposite side and in the same positions you will find these plugs. Just remove them and reverse them to the oteh side. I hope this helps.
