Hi if you mean the fridge has been switched off to say clean it and you mean how long will it take from the time you switch it on until its cold enough to use then your looking at about 10min how ever when you switch it on if you turn the temperature control to its coldest setting it should be done a bit quicker just remember to change the temp back to where you normally have it else you fridge will turn into freezer.
a freezer would take about 25 to 30 min on its coldest setting before it would be cool enough to use.
hope this is what you was looking for if not let me know ok
Hello. For a fridge to fully cool down to operating temp takes up to 24 hours. J.
SOURCE: Top refrigerator section will not cool
Check the evaporator fan , freezer must have a fan to avoid ice formation, if evaporator does not work, thermic sensor jams up and freezer stop working. The fan is located behind the panel in the freezer.
Check the back of your freezer, If there is frost or ice, then the unit is not defrosting.
This is often caused by problems with evaporator system.
Sometimes you also need to check the defrost timer, located at the top of the FFC on the Top freezer.
Check also the defrost thermostat, which is on the evaporator inside
the freezer.
If
it isnt defrosting, change both.

We are not sure what precipitated the temperature swing up; however, within about an hour of emptying quite a lot of foodstuffs from top and bottom sections of the unit, I felt the cold air start to flow out of the rear vent. Within two hours, the upper section had dropped to about 50 degrees and by the next morning to 36. The freezer seemed to recoved on its own too, having risen to almost 8 degrees and then recovering to 0. Just patience and a smaller food payload?

you might have a defrost problem. Frost free models have a heating element that is controlled by a timer to automatically defrost ice, defrost timer turns on defrost heating element every 12 hours to melt ice in freezer and allow good air flow.
You can test defrost element with an ohm meter(located inside freezer coils-will have two wires going to a plug connection), if OK replace defrost timer (located in various places depending on make and model
