Monitor goes on and off

Did you first unplug the AC power cord to see if this helps clear out the issue? Recommend you call ViewSonic Customer Care for support with this.

See my pictures of failed VX series. Use thin flat blade screw driver to crack it open at the bottom egde of the monitor.

Your monitor is probably shuttin off once something is heating up enough to cause the safety relay in its power supply board to shut it off. I find that once a monitor goes, just toss it, it isn't cost effective to try and have it repaired the
cost will exceed the cost of a new monitor

hi my lcd AL1916 acer monitor keeps going black or loosing signal after 2 or 3 sec. i press the moon on my keyboard 2 times it comes on then off again please help

abandoned problem for now. will look for inverter board or parts from another monitor

Is this a laptop by any chance?

That must be something to do with your power supply attachad to the main board.

How do you change the bulb on viewsonic monitor 19" model VX900? Where can I get a new replacement bulb?
