My friend's LG Banter has some keyboard issues. Apparently only a few letters, j, k, and the off/on button, work. He has a new phone, and he said that I could take it apart and try to fix it. I disassembled part of the phone, and cleaned out some lint, but the track is being pretty stubborn. Any tips on how to de-rail the sliding mechanism?

ok. heres what i did, if you keep pressing a button (any button) on the QWERTY keyboard it may.. FOR A FEW SECONDS work.
if you simply wait enough time, then the keypad will work.
you must have patience, and press the buttons slowly, but after awhile it willl work (:
start using the T9 word more because the phone apparently gets to hot and over used on the QWERTY keyboard, as you learn to text very fast.
therefore making it slower.
almost like when you type too fast for word to catch up.
if you use T9 more then QWERTY keyboard will work better, i promise!
(: hope this helped!!
