SCX-4200 Paper jam

HI,

I read your post about how to fix the paper jam problem on the SCX. I looked for sensor but could not find any. Are those easy to repair or you need to open the printer? I contacted Samsung and they are going to send a new printer since they don't seem to bother trying to fix it.

Should I give up and just get the new printer? The problem being I need the printer...

Thank's in advance

Martin

It would probably be easier if the fuser was out of the machine. We are speaking about a fuser jam, correct?

'paper jam' message - Printer not working!!

Clear all paper jams from the front and the back areas inside the printer. Then, turn off and restart. It should reset itself.

My Samsung scx 4x20 printer shows paper jam in the dsisplay but there is NO paper jam. Can not get the error away and the printer refuses to print. What to do?

I suppose that the exit paper sensor in fusing section is broken (ussually when you pull out paper jam you can brake this little black or blue pawl). You can order and buy only this paper sensor pawl (very cheep).

Paper jam

After the fuser, problably near the exit rollers, there is going to be a switch/sensor, that has a problem. It could be hung up, out of position, ect, but you have a typical exit sensor problem.
