I would actually not remove the front of the washer to do this. Locate the spring clamp that holds the front of the door boot in place and remove it. If you get a flat bladed screwdriver behind it you can roll it out of it's groove.
After you get the door boot loose, you can then remove the three screws that secure the lock in place and slide the lock into the opening of the door boot to disconnect the wires and install the new one.
