I have a Cannon 400D and take many of my car shots are coming out blurred even though I am squeezing the button as per instructions on the autofocus "P" setting and shoot when I am perfectly still?? Anyone got any suggestions

Seems as if the autofocus is not working properly. Best thing would be to take it back to the store and get it replaced.
