Thank you very much. It must be pretty sensitive, because I'm getting clear pictures even when I can't get rid of it.

What does the head and hand icon mean?

The Hand icon means digital image stabilization. Not sure what head icon you're talking about. You may be able to find a matching icon within this link. http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/94/LYT1426-001C.pdf

What does This Mean <=0=>

In maths it means greater than or less than zero.

As a text emoticon I think it means clapping, applause, but it is not one of the more common emoticons.

How do you install the batteries? I can't open the compartment.

The battery cover on the AMPLIPOWER60 has a V-shaped friction claps similar to what is found on many children's toys. On the side closest to the curly-cord connecting the hand receiver to the telephone body you will see a small rounded opening on one side of the closure. It is useful to insert the tip of a pen into this opening and press lightly towards the over. The V-shaped claps will flex and the over will open.

I have video of the process here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsoRes2VUw

My audio doesnt align with the video on playback

You mean it's not 'in sync.' (synchronisation) ?
Is it possible to establish whether sound is behind or in front of the image, meaning if for instance, someone clapped their hands together visually, do you hear the sound of the handclap just before you see them close? That's sound ahead.
If you see the hands come together then hear the handclap that's sound behind.
Tried a cleaner cassette?
Does it do it with one tape or any?

What does it mean when it saids E20

Not draining properly. Remove the lower panel under the door so you can access the drain pump which is located right in front, there's a black hose coming from the tub down to the pump, loosen the ring clap at the top of the hose and pull out the coin filter and clean it out. When you loose that ring clap water will start coming out so keep some towels around.

Is the position of my CO3 Samson Mic. in the right place

exactly how did you place your mic? Because in the picture you are showing there are placed two or three mics. The best sound quality does not always depend on the up or down position of your mic. It has a lot to with the acoustics of the room you are recording in, the distance you vocalist is standing and even of you use a windscreen or a reflection wall. The best advice is clap you hands a few times in your room and make sure the clap turns dead. If you clap go's silently dead, without hitting any walls or windows that reflect the sound, than you will have a good position to record.

How claps the brakes drum to add the new pads

I think you mean rear discs. You have to turn the caliper piston clockwise back into the caliper. You will see two notches on the piston. You can buy a bespoke tool to do this or as i did bend a piece of 8mm rod to suit the notch centres and push and turn

Noisy at very low volume!

I had the same problem... if it's mechanical... this is the solution....under the lid is a free floating magnet clap which centers and sits on top of the dics when the lid is closed. This rides to low when the lid is down and rubs on the inside lip of the lid which prevents the clap from falling out... solution... cut a piece of scotch tape the same size (circle) as the inside magnet surface of the clap... stick it on...now the clap with magnetic clap as before but will be a few 1000ths higher...mike
