Hi, have you tried cleaning the filter with mild soap under hot water ? An old toothbrush works well for scrubbing the screen, careful not to tare it. Can you test run the unit without a load remove the lint screen and the vent to see if the error continues ? That would identify if the error is related to air flow within the realm of "easy repairing". If it still comes up with an error without those things in place, the problem is within' the internal duct-work or controls. Let me know what you find. good luck, macmarkus :)

Turn off your breakers, then back on to insure a good reset. Then check the wiring from the receptacle, to the plug and then to the back of the dryer. You are getting some heat which tells me that one leg of power is out. I don't think it is your element, because you get some heat. Let me know how you do.
SOURCE: not drying
It may not be your heating element. Your dryer lint vent pipe out the back of the machine or maybe out the
side may be plugged. You have to pull the machine out and clear
that pipe or rebuild it out to a soffit vent or static vent if it is in
the attic, or out through your crawl space. This will make a huge
difference. If that hot air and moisture doesn't get out of the
machine it just goes back into your clothes.
Good luck!!

Your heater element may be burnt or you may have to many bends in the vent pipe. also try a smaller load if you still have trouble let me know and I can give you a diagram and tell you things to check in order. You will need a volt meter to do the test and understand the dangers of operating voltage. Also Just for the heck of it try resetting you circuit Breaker for the dryer.
SOURCE: The heating element is working
the ducting is clogged or at least partially clogged (most likely at an elbow).
Also check the vent itself where it exits the home for bird nests etc.
Lowes sells a nice kit for cleaning vents in the plumbing department. I have
used it and it works well. Please note that the dryer may also be clogged
inside just below the lint filter inside the door or if it has a top mounted
lint filter it would be the blower stack located in the back of the machine
Remember to shut off breakers before performing any service to the machine.
