Sony kv-32fs120 blinks 9 times

Does the tv blink 9 times and cut off and then try to come back on? If so change the switching regulator,also i would change D6116,D6301. they are all on the G board.use a desoldering iron,Oh,make sure the tv is unpluged from outlet.Also check for bad wiring connections,bad solder joints.Use a good solder for good connection like 60%Tin and 40%Lead Rosin Core.hope this helps...

Ur high voltage is dead,the FBT,the flyback transformer,the big block of plastic wth a red wire with a cap hook to a CRT(tv tube).

I just fix one like this one for $200.00 usually is $275 you have problems in the zero cross detector inside the tv

I had the same problem with Sony KV-32fs120 with 9 blinks. Replaced D645 and D647 on main board with 1.5A1KV diodes from Radio Shack which did the trick.

disconnect CRT broad from neck of picture tube if high voltage comes up when turned on then your tube is defective.

Check your power supply board and resolder the pcb, check the switching diodes and zeners.

Blinking what - how many times before it pauses and then blinks the next set?? Sonys have an error code of blinking to help isolate the problem... (count the number of times it blinks before pausing and let me know).

How many blinks does the timer light flash? On a Sony this is a troubleshooting device.
