HP posts all of their drivers and software on their website for free download. Just go to http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=2510767#N677
and click on the "basic driver" download and install it (this link will take you directly to your printer's driver). That should get you up and running.

HP doesn't list a driver for 98se. Windows 2000 is as far back as it lists.
