Motorola i425 code

Hello:
I sent to my family in cuba a motorola cell phone i425. They have been trying to get a line there but someone from the phone company said to them that they need to decode the cell phone first and for that they need to know the cell phone code. How can I know the cell phone code?

    Hi:
This motorola i425 is already unlocked. That's why I don't understand that we have to decode the cell phone before use it. What is the diference between unlocked and decode?

cell phones are usually locked by the carrier so that you cannot use the phone they give you with another company.

I can't save ringtones via email attachment to my i425

Boost Mobile does not accept ringtones from 3rd parties, whether its sent via email or mp3 attachment. U might want to try sending it through the SMS. Maybe u can save it that way. Only way I've been able to get ringtones is thru the Boost site only. No "free ringtone" websites are able to send ringtones thru a message, cuz Boost blocks this. And Ive tried them all. Until they provide us with phones with SD cards, were outta luck, sorry.

Deleting messages on Motorola i425

Hello, newa...
In order to delete a message, you select it and press the menu key (second key on the left side, between the first one and the Send key).
You choose the function "delete" message and press OK (the central key).
Does it solve it?
