Mastermindit has the same capability to give master Passwords as Dell does, with a lot less hastle. His solutions have been offered without requiring a fee, BUT, ... it would be nice if some of you people who he's been able to help would make a small donation for his troubles. I just received a Master Password from him for my Dell Latitude D630, and it worked flawlessly.

When you power on the laptop and it asks you right away for a password without loading your OS this means you have a bios password installed. In order for you to reset the password you will need to contact Dell and prove to them the ownership of the laptop inorder for them to give you the master password to reset the bios password.
