Replace the convergence ICs you need two STK392-110 convergence ICs You can get replacement ICs at the folowing link with free isntallation instructions. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
Sounds like a bad convergence circuit, unless you know how to use a meter and solder well you will need to call a reapir man. This repair should run you anywhere from $300-$500 depending on your area and the tech that comes out. If you were to do it yourself it would run less than $100. Does your set have Magic Focus, if so then you can adjust manually. And when Convergence is acceptable, press Move to write data to ROM memory. Rom Write? is displayed to alarm system that ROM will be over written with new data, Press the Move button again to write displayed data to ROM. Data Write will take 20 sec. aand no picture will be displayed Green dot will be displayed when operation is complete. Press Mute to returen to converg. pattern, then confirm again converg. is acceptable. Press MOVE(ROM WRITE) mode, then press PIP ch to initialize sensor dat positions.
