Haven't used my B&D for a year or so and I tried to use it and I can her the motor turning on and then it stops and the 7oz and 90z buttons start blinking and it starts beeping. I've tried hitting the cleaning button numerous times and unplugging and replugging it but nothing seems to work. I've heard there is a way to prime them, but I don't know how.

I have the same problem on all sizes. It makes a loud noise like something running, then stops and then two of the blue lights blink for about 30 seconds. No water ever comes out.

Unplug and then plug the machine back in. The stop light should be blinking.

Hold down the lid release lever until the lid opens up. Close the lid enough so that the sensor thinks the lid is closed, but not enough so that it actually latches closed. You'll hear a "click" where the sensor engages before the latch takes hold. Hold the lid in that position until the red stop light stops blinking, then close the lid all the way until it latches.

Press the clean button (with water in the tank) and it should begin working properly again. Good luck!

This coffee machine is WORTHLESS do NOT buy it. Ive spent the last hour trying to figure out why it starts brewing the coffee for about 10 seconds then stops and the 7oz and 9oz lights just blink. NOW I CANT EVEN OPEN THE DAMN LID TO CHECK WHERE THE PODS GO TO SEE IF THATS THE PROBLEM.

Once again do NOT buy this, black and decker has lost nearly ALL of my business now. Their products are cheap plastic chinese made GARBAGE.

If you have black and decker stock still, just hang on to it. I imagine it can't go any lower.

Very poor customer service too. Horrible horrible product. Home cafe from black and decker is a POS! If you buy it without researching reviews first, it is your own fault. I'm just glad mine didn't randomly catch on fire like others have.....

I hope this solves your problem because i had the same problem. I got curious and decided to open the bottom of the machine an check it. I found some dirt or grounds in the line that lead from the water tank to a filter and then to the water heater. The filter was clogged so the water couldn't get through fast enough to the water heater so this is why the two blinking lights(9oz. and the 7oz.) came on. Once I cleaned the line it worked fine for me. just be careful when taking it apart it is kind of tight underneath with all those lines down there and you could break something when taking it apart.
