Mcdevito75 here, You have a Fissil watch, Quatrtz, and the face has changed color, If the color is a dark gray or black, and you"ve banged the watch against something, The LCD Liquid Crystal Display is shot, no good anymore. To be sure see a local small watch repair shop in your area, they should tell you for sure and for free. Sorry!.

I have a Mingrui WR30MIN watch in bluish green. I don't know how did it, but my blue light changed into neon green.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Television and Video Category to Watches.

This is an unknown watch in North America. The link might work better for you. It does appear you can change backlight colours.

Will not store settings unless kept in standby. Contrast/Brightness/Colour/Volume

1. The on/off switch is not easily accessible because the remote control is used to turn the TV on and off.
2. If the remote is used, the TV is always in standby mode
3. When the power is turned off and then back on those settings go back to their preset values or the last preset settings.
4, You should be able to enter the preset settings with the original remote control,

Some sprint bars need to be curved, get them in stainless steel.
You need to know the MM size of the spring bar, yu may find that on the strap if its the original strap.
Search for - SWISS REIMAGINED Curved Stainless Steel Spring Bar Pins.
For a box of mixed size straight spring bars look for - Ritche Professional 360pc Watch Band Stainless Steel Link Pins.
Pick up the spring bar tool as well. Amazon sells all of it.

I have a BIG TIC JR-8529. Is this model obsolete? The watch was not working properly (stopping/slowing down), so I replaced the battery. It seems fine now, but still no digital display in the background...

Since Fossil do not list their instructions under model numbers it is difficult to be sure that you rmodel still exists but if you go to their web site for instructions http://www.fossil.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ContentView?langId=10&storeId=32553&catalogId=20002&page=instructions

(click on this link to go there) and you will see some instructions for various big tic watches and you can select the one that suits yours.

The only one that I could find that had a single button above the winder used it to cahnge the colour. Pressing this button for 2 seconds will change the colour to "alternating" and the same again will produce a fixed colour. Perhaps this will make the change of display you need.

Often with watches, you need to use a pair of tweezers to short the battery case to the chassis ((often marked "ac"). This seems to be a re-set function, although I have never found an explanation for the need to do this.

If all else fails, look up their contact details and speak to them about your problem.

I just received my watch. There was no manual. I thought the time was set by radio in the middle of the night. It is not set at all. It does not work. Does it need a battery? What do I do? ...

These watches do set themselves during the night. The watch come with a battery fitted so this should not be your problem.

You can get instructions from the Casio web site.

Go to the casio web site "casio.com".

Select "support" and the "manuals", watches;

Accept terms

Select "watch manual archive"

Read the number of the back of your watch and enter it into the search box

Change the battery, change the watchface

Take your watch to your nearest watch shop and ask them to do it for you.

You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is not worth the risk for the small cost saving.

Changing the face is altogether a different matter but I suggest that you discuss this with the shop that changes you battery. I suspect that it would have to go to the makers service location.

Rose gold Skagen watch strap changing colour to brassy.

this answer may sound odd but it happens, Everyone exerts different energy. Skagen bands are usually very tolerant of that but something in the band is having an effect from your skin. which is unlikely but very common in other watches. I believe they use copper in the mix for the rose gold bands, you may want to request a silver or gold band next time.. unfortunately the copper does not react well with your skin.

Time line on map not corresponding with plus/minus hours box.

I don't know. I gave it to a 15 year old, and it was sorted in 10 minutes! Thanks.
