My Westinghouse LTV-32w6 HD has sound but no picture

Gustav, Try factory reset, to get to the Setup Wizard. With the TV on press the menu button on your remote. While the menu is displayed press the 0 button four times. This should bring up a new menu with factory reset as an option.

Likely have a bad cable box. Could cable have bad connection before box also.

It can be the backlight inverter board or it is not getting 24vdc from the power supply, you need to check and see if you do have 24vdc at the fuse on the inverter board as shown in the pictures.

You need to find out if you have 24vdc at the inverter fuse, it can be that the 24vdc power supply is not working either.

You may have LCD controller board overheating problem (the pictures show the board with shield removed)
Try cooling it with small fan blowing at the vents.

If the lines are thin and vertical then you probably can't fix it.

A picture will help a lot here.

is it ran through a HDMI cable?
sometimes the source is at fault or it could be a bad hdmi cable or maybe a bad hdmi port. if your using a hdmi try plugging it into another hdmi port and see if that helps

were on the power supply is the fuse located

green screen on hdmi is normally a defective hdmi cable. 1st try a different device , like a dvd player. if same problem try dif cable. if it still does not work you have a defective signal pcb otherwise known as a main pcb.
