Yes. The machine has indeed bursted a pipe. Contact the company from where you bought the machine for warranty or repair solutions. Its strongly advised against trying to repair the machine yourself.
I suggest that you use the commands to "close the machine" for transport and then re-start it as if it was new. I had to get rid of my EA8250 after only 2 years as mine stopping working as well. I tore it apart and saw a lot of wear for such as short time. My grinder also stopped. KRUPS says you cannot use Oily beans but only after you buy the machine.
Take it back to the retailer, tell them about the noise and the water leak. It's under guarantee so you should not be looking for any self help solutions, it's faulty.
I sell lots of new and used parts for various coffee machines, but specialize in Krups. If interested in purchasing a Krups brew head seal at a resaonable price, contact me at [email protected] and I'll make arrangements. I purchase the groups seals directly from Krups and they will arrive sealed in the manufacturer's original plastic packaging. I accept Paypal to make the transaction safe and secure for us both.
