Question about Fujitsu 18C1 Air Conditioner

I have a model AR DL10 remote for a Fujitsu air conditioner. The air conditioner's model is AOU18C1. The air conditioner wont respond to the remote after I changed the batteries. How can I fix this or at least find me a cheap replacement. Im currently using the manual button behind the air conditioner's cover.

Are you sure you have the right remote? The one where the batteries are stored under the slide cover?
If it is than step by step:
1. Remove slide
2. Take out old batteries
3. Make sure the ABCD slide switch is on A.
4. Depress the RST button.
5. THEN put the new batteries in. (make sure they are in the correct position)
6. Close slide cover and test.

After changing the batteries you have to depress the RST button and if the remote has the abcd slide switch ensure it is set to A.

To clarify just in case. Make sure the remote is the one with the slide cover.
1. Remove the slide cover
2. Take out old batteries (ONLY TAKE OUT DONT PUT NEW ONES YET)
3. Make sure the ABCD slide is on A.
4. Depress the RST button.
5. Put new batteries.
6. Put cover back on and test.

My remote control is working i need replacement is for fujitsu air condition model #AR-RY6 or can i use different model

I find that most remotes from the same manufacture work on different models. Fujitsu is big enough where I think its worth a try.

I have a model AR-DL10 remote. One of the batteries corroded , installed new ones and now the unit will not respond. What should I do?

Pull the new batteries and clean the terminals. If cleaning don't work the corrosion may have damaged the remote. Use a PC of sand paper, or scratch the surface that the batteries touch.

Remote Control Unit-Fujitsu Air Con. Model:AR-DL1 is broken.

If you contact Fujitsu in your country and you will be able to buy it straight from them, if they are still available. Now I have to warn you as a Fujitsu warrenty agent they are very very expensive.

I would prolly recommend getting a universal remote. ALOT cheaper

Aou18c1 not shutting off

Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Sanyo mini-split indoor fan motors operate continuoulsy. The room-temperature sensor is inside the unit, so the fan motor needs to circulate air continuouly to sense room-air temperature. This is normal operation.
