Check whether the audio is muted by accidental press at remote control button. Enter its sound menu, and check it. If muted, as you know there will be no audio output. If not muted, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. If the picture is OK in all respect, there should be sound.
Hello The output impedence of the amp is 8 Ohms. It can also be connected to a 4 Ohms speaker, but the reted output will be higher than specifed, and the sound quality will be reduced. You cant get an putput impedece to this amp by no means, as its' output is desigend to match 8 Ohms/channel. If you have only spekers with 4ohms impedence, connect two of the in serieal connection, so that, they together will reach a resultant impedence of 4Ohms. Similarly connect an other two spekers in series to the other channel too. OK.
Your Astar TV has no sound and picture OK I understands and posts this solution. Check first its speakers. If speaker is out there will be no sound output from the TV. If speakers are Ok, the sound card is defective and need replacement. You can check speaker with the use of a multimeter. Set the multimter to Ohms range and check the resistance of the two terminals of the speaker. It should be between 4 to 8 Ohms. If not, speaker is faulty and should be replaced. As in the case of sound card, it is a skilled work, and cannot be done by the user. OK.
You haven't mentioned about the picture at all. Assuming that, picture is ok I suggests. Ok
If the picture is Ok and there is no sound output from the speaker, your TV has either speaker problem or output Ic problem. To assure where is the fault, you just place your ear very near to the TVs speaker side, and switch on the TV. If you hear a "thumb" sound or a "HUM" sound, your TVs output ic has blown out. If you did not hear any sound at all, the speaker of your TV has gone.
If you have a little knowledge in electronics, you can do it by yoursef. This is a minor mistake. Opwen the back cover of your TV, locate and note the type and number of the audio output Ic, go for that and get it replaced; if the fault is related to Ic. You can do the speaker replacement also by this way. I have given this much advice, assuming that picture in your TV is Ok. Otherwise the fault may be different.
There is no sound you means? If so what about the picture? If picture is ok and there is no sound either the speaker of your tv or audio output Ic inside your TVs circuit board is faulty.
To check it, place your ear very close to the speaker side of your tv and turn it on. if a "thumb" sound or a "hum" sound is heard from your TVs speaker, the output Ic is faulty. If there is no sound at all, speaker is faulty. If you have any home theater system; and your TV has audio out RCA sockets at the rear or front side of it, connect it to audio system, and swich on both and find if there is sound output or not. If yes you can assure your TVs sound filtering system is ok, and the fault is somewhere between speaker and audio output Ic. Ok.
