Since you appear to be able to get on the internet my advice would be to go to the MFG website for the computer. You can download the network card driver from their website. If the network card didn't come with the computer then you could go to the MFG website of the card and download the driver from that website.

The wireless driver is gone for my inspiron e 1505 after xp pro upgrade

If you formatted drive you will need to re-install wireless network driver from either Dell motherboard driver disk or obtain it off the net.

I have a fujitsu siemens amilo pro v2035 laptop and i recently formatted there is a problem with my network controler it reports an error

Below is the link to the network driver for your laptop. Copy and paste the link to your internet browser address bar and hit enter. When the page loads, look down and you will be asked to accept the license terms. Click yes and then click download. Remember where you download the file and double click it, it will load your new network drivers. You may have to reboot for them to activate. Good luck ParrotHead PC repair

I have 2 computers connected via a d-link.Both pc's recently been re-formatted,so nothing wrong with the pc's.this pc I am on is able to access the internet, however the other one is not.We don't know...

If you have formated the computer have you installed the network drivers on the other computer? (right click my computer->manage>devicemanager) look får questions marks. if none click start>run>write "cmd" and write "ipconfig" put the output here.

Connectivity issue with our D-Link DWL-122 wireless adapter

It could be one of three problems - either the network adapter in your desktop PC has gone bad, the router or ports of the D-Link have gone bad or the cable you are using to connect the two is damaged. The wireless could continue to work if any of the three are problems.

Check that you have link lights on the back of the PC - you should see two where the network cable plugs in and one should flash when sending & receiving data. Also check that the corresponding light on the D-Link for the port you are plugged into is lit. Try different jacks on the D-Link as well.

To tell if the problem is the PC or the D-Link you need to connect another computer to the D-Link. Can you plug in the laptop (disconnect from your wireless first) and physically plug that in - if you have network connections in & out the D-Link is fine and your network card could be the problem. If no connection to the internet is available when plugged in to the D-Link your router is the problem or a setting in the network properties of the PC could be to blame (the latter unlikely if you recently reformatted).

You could continue to use the D-Link for wireless and pick up a 5-Port Switch or something similar to share the network connection - one going to your desktop PC, another line to the D-Link. This is a cheaper solution than getting a new wireless router.

I hope this helps....
