Vcd's i have a sc-ht740 dvd home theater system. i have tried and tried to burn both vcd's and svcd's from my Cucusoft AVI to VCD/DVD/SVCD converter but my dvd player keeps saying no play. help

Playable Disc Formats: CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, SVCD, VCD
Playable File Formats: MP3

Blue ray player available in the maket can't play VCDs (MPEG-1). Its can plays only formats like DivX, XviD, Avi, Mpeg-4, MkV, DivX-HD. That the main disadvantage of blue ray players.

Use your favorite Burning software and burn the .avi, .mpg, .wmv, etc.... to VCD of SVCD if that's what you want. No need to convert to DVD and then SVCD as it would just waste your time.

In order to transfer your videos to DVD, your computer must be equipped with a DVD Burner and you must use the software provided with the burner.
