Hi,

you didn't mention the model, but on the washer/dryer combo units, the H1 means the following:

H 1 Flashing

This is actually stating "HI", as in either the refrigerator or freezer, temperatures are Hi and not at a safe level. First, press any button to stop the alarm and clear the HI temperature. If you are still receiving the alarm, I suggest checking the freezer, to make sure that everything is still frozen, and nothing is defrosting as, well as checking the refrigerator temperatures. If things are defrosting or the temperature is Hi in your refrigerator, I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. When power is restored, Give your freezer 24 hours to stabilize at the default temperatures of 0 degrees for the freezer and 37 degrees for the refrigerator.

Fridgeaire error code H1

Hello - Could it possibly be HI? Typically error code HI indicates that the unit has detected high temperature in freezer. Try setting the unit to a lower setting. Generally the factory setting is 0 for the freezer temperature and 37 for the fresh food temperature.

What is the reason for the reset button keep poping out on the dean sm35gm

Hi there!
Reset button of hi-limit switch will only pop-out when its sensing bulb sensed temperature higher tha 450F (trip temperature of hi-limit). Theramostat may be bad allowing oil to reach temp above 450F causing hi-limit to trip-off or hi-limit itself is bad tripping-off at temperature lower than 450F.
Check also the position of the sensing bulb of the hi-limit, it may be positioned touching the heat tube (for gas fryer) or heating element (for electric fryer) that's why it prematurely trips-off.
Regards.

Spa keeps overheating

Hi,
Faulty temperature sensor should do this to.
A floating thermometer should read water temperature within 3-4 degrees of spa controller. If it is greater than that your sensor is bad.
The hi limit is an over heat sensor it does not control the temperature of the water. If the water is heating above 118 degrees and the spa is not shutting down its Hi Limit.

Hoover oph 714d optima 7kg washing machine fault code e05

Hi

Error code e005 means the temperature sensor has gone bad. To fix this error you'll need to replace the temperature sensor. It might have happened that the temperature sensor wires have been disconnected from the main board. To replace the temperature sensor you'll need to disassemble the washer and inspect the drum's bottom for the temperature sensor. Also check the wires coming to the sensor fro any cut.

Please post back for any further assistance.

How would you know high limit thermostat is defective. need to know before ordering part

Hi, you'll need a ohm tester (multi-tester) you will have to remove / disconnect wires from hi-limit, in normal room temperature, place tester lead on terminals where you remove wires, if you get a beep/continuity, hi-limit is o/k, if no beep/continuity, hi-limit faulty, for further test you can heat up hi-limit, (oven) and check with tester, hi-limit switch off when temperature gets to high, and switch on when temperature drops, so at room temperature hi-limit should be on, (hear beep on tester), if there's no beep/continuity at room temperature, high-limit is faulty. disconnect power before doing any repairs, good luck.
