I have a Maytag Neptune model MAH5500BWW. My wife found it stopped in the middle of a cycle with the indicator showing "LO." I've so far, unplugged and replugged, pressed hand wash key and the heavy soil keys for 3 seconds (nothing), and a key combination that showed the "LO" indication. Uh, help!

Error codes appear when there are problems with the door, the inflow and drainage of water and the motor.

Do
Your Maytag Neptune washer displays the "do" help code when the washing machine is trying to start a cycle, but the door is open or not locked properly. If this message is displayed, close the door securely and restart the washing cycle.

FL
The "FL" code indicates that the washing machine was unable to lock the door after you closed it. Open and close the door tightly, then restart the washing cycle.

Sd
The "Sd" code indicates that you have added too much detergent to the washing machine and your laundry has too many suds. The machine will stop displaying this code if it has successfully run the suds recovery cycle, which removes the excess suds from the wash load. PF

LO

Its hard to tell exactly what causing it to squeal during the mixing of water and stop in the middle of the cycle full of water, especially when the make and the exact model number is not indicated.. But a loose connection or electronic glitch is evident as manifested by the unplugging of the washer. This problem is common to Maytag Neptune Front-Load Washers.

The link below, courtesy of www.repairclinic.com, shows that the rear bearing comes with the outer tub only and is very pricey! I have been unable to find a service agency that offers just the bearing. Very aggravating. www.maytag.com would be a good place to define your issue.

The error code you describe is not listed in Maytag's book of codes. The link below will take you to Maytag's website error code page where you might be able to match it up.

it is saying failed to lock the door need door latch switch part # 22003269

Here is the solution I found that worked for me, there is a small drain hole at the bottom of the boot that is connected to a drain hose. Remove the hose and clean out to make sure that it has not become plagged. replace hose and reattach boot. Mine stoped leaking imediately.
