You should open it up and clean out more dust inside, and at the same time look to see any burnt boards, compnents, caps with bulging tops, etc.
The power supply and the processor have been running 24/7 for the last 3 years (the TV does not even has to be on).

Sony KDS R60XBR1 red light blinking 3 times. Replaced lamp, cleaned all vents, replaced cover door properly.. What else?

You may need to take off the back cover and clean the fan and if you can, put a little oil on the fan shaft. I also use a small vacuum to get more of the dust out around the fan. You can blow out some of the dust but be careful as you don't want to blow dust into the lamp area. When you take off the back cover you'll be amazed at the amount of dust in there!

. Problem with PC Laptops My wife has an

Hi
Compressed air is not a good idea for as couple of reasons:

1. Sometimes there is moisture in the can that will be blasted onto the board
2. It can cause dust to get wedged tighter in the fan and sink area

The only real soloution is to strip the laptop and do a manual clean, this is quite simple on the advents, as all you need to do is remove the large cover on the laptop base to access the heatsink and grilles, you can dust out ( hoover) the fan area and the cooling vents, if this proves to be difficult, obtain some thermal paste, remove the screws retaining the heatsink and lift out the fan and sink assy,
Clean and replace after regreasing the cpu top with thermal grease. Make sure fan connector is attached then.
Tighten the screws in sequence, replace plastic cover

Maytag side by side fridge freezer leaking water

Your drain plug within the evap area of the freezer is frozen, turn frig off, let sit for day or two with doors open. Once all ice has melted then take rear freezer evap cover off and pour water into try and make sure it drains, if not then unplug drain. This is usually caused by a defrost heater bad or unit not going into defrost when it's supposed to, may be main board.

Kennmore model 253

Unplug the unit, open the freezer door and look through the vents at the bottom of the back wall. With enough light you should see the alluminum coil through the vents. If there is ice/frost in the vents your coils are frozen up. Remove the cover on the inside back wall of the freezer you may need to remove the ice maker as well if you have one it just plugs into the back wall there is also a plug behind the cover to the back upper left corner. Once the cove is out of the way use a hair dryer to defrost the coils or leave the unit unpluged for a while. After all the ice is gone reinstall the cover and turn the unit on it will probably work for 3-10 days and then the process must be repaeted again. I replaced the defrost thermostat on mine 2 weeks ago and all is good so far. The defrost thermostat is a little round device that snaps onto the small copper line in the upper right corner behind back cover it has 2 blue wires and cost's about $20.

Hope this helps
