Its really not usual in market with mobile phones playing video instead of just audio when you receive a text or a call. Currently you only have the option of audio, so if you can compromise your video on the very related audio of its, then all you need is a video to audio conversion tool, and your job is pretty most done! Every machine has its own audio supporting constraint. It could be an mp3 format or a midi. So you need to convert it accordingly and dump it into your phone and set it default.

How do I adjust the volume, too LOUD?

Hello jinniq51,

i have some tips on how to do it hope it helps :D

Settings
In this menu, you can adjust various phone
settings. To reset some menu settings to their
default values, select Restore factory set.
Tone settings
Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and from the available
options:
Ringing tone-To set the tone for incoming calls
Ringing volume-To set the volume level for the ringing and
message alert tones. If you set Ringing volume to be level 2 or
above, your phone rings with the ringing volume ascending
from level 1 to the level you have set when there is an
incoming call.
Vibrating alert-To set the phone to vibrate when you receive a
call or a text message
Message alert tone-To set the tone to sound when you receive
a text message
Warning tones-To set the phone to sound tones, for example,
when the battery is running out of power

Go to Menu, Setting, Sound Profile, select profile, I prefer Normal, go to the drop down menu (you should see Call), select Message, go to Message Alert Type and choose Melody, go to Message Alert Tone and touch Tones (bottom right corner) select the tone of your preference, press Add and Save... have a Blessed day!

Cant use text message tones other than the ones that came with

if you cant find message tone settings either through your message folder or tone settings, then you should take it to somewhere like the carphone warehouse, or look through the manual to see if there is even an option for you to do so.
