SOURCE: My Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse just stopped working

If the mouse light is not turning ON even though you have new batteries and the mouse is turned on, then you need to contact the manufacturer for RMA.

Thank you!

Have a dynex optical mouse model # DX- PWLMSE how does it connect

The Dynex DX-PWLMSE uses a 27 MHz frequency wireless connection between the mouse and a specific USB receiver. For the specifications, see https://www.dynexproducts.com/pdp/DX-PWLMSE/8632063 .

To use the mouse, you need to press the Eject button behind the scroll wheel. This lets you open the battery/USB storage compartment. Put two AAA batteries into the mouse. Then remove the USB adapter (it's between the two battery slots). Close the storage compartment and put the USB adapter into an available USB 2.0 slot on the computer with a version of the Windows OS above Windows 98. (Note: the specifications I see indicate Dynex wrote drivers for Windows Vista. It may not work with Windows 7, 8 or 10.) Make sure that the computer is on and can get driver updates from on-line sources. Turn on the mouse and it should auto-pair with the receiver. If there is no response, try pressing and holding the connect button on the bottom of the mouse.

I'm not aware of any vendors that sell the USB receiver for this mouse. The manual for the DX-PWLMSE is available from Manuals Lib: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Dynex-Dx-Pwlmse-Wireless-Optical-Usb-Laptop-Mouse-4908.html .

I hope this helps.

My dynex wireless mouse model dx-pwlmse just stopped working after having it for a couple years. changed the battery, moved usb to different usb ports doesnt matter wont work anywhere.

Hi.

There should be a small button on the underneath of the mouse which should say "connect" press that button and also the one on the USB receiver if it has one. Also check if you have put the batteries in the right way round.

My mouse does not works properly/ it works slow, cursor makes little jumps, movement not smooth. Laptop samsung R40

Are you using it on a mousepad? If not, that is probably why you are getting jumpy and erratic movement. Put a mousepad underneath the mouse and you should see the cursor movement improve.

You can also adjust the mouse properties such as speed and control by going into the Control Panel and opening the Mouse applet.

Do you have the correct Dynex driver installed? If not, go to the Dynex website and download the driver for your mouse. Having the wrong driver (or a generic driver) can make a difference in performance sometimes.

Hope one (or all) of those solutions helps!

Mouse Cursor Jumps to the right of the screen

Have you tried going into the control panel - mouse - pointer options - motion speed (slower) and experiment with pointer precision check box? Try it, see what that gets ya.
