Tv sound works but no picture, was working fine the night before. Got up this morning and the screen is blank. Doesnt sound like anything is buzzing in the back, no fan and no heat. Its a 50 inch flat screen plasma tv by L G we bought it 3/16/09 the warrenty just ended this march and we didnt have the money to extend it. We never had a problem before with it. The panel is under warrenty two years.

My 47" LCD Smart T.V. was working fine last night. I got up this morning and I have sound but no picture. The VIZIO icon lights up as usual but I get no picture, only sound. From the time I turned it on, nothing appeared on the screen. I have already tried unplugging it for a while and still nothing.

may have some loose connection inside the tv occur, or a tv circuit problem already

is the screen dark?, if is it, see if the TRC filament is light, if is it afirmative, turn a little clockwise the fly back knob that say SCREEN and watch if there is a horizontal line at midle of the tv screen. if is it, your problem is in the vertical stage.

There was a software update early this morning which caused your recvr to go to recovery mode until it downloads the new software which takes about 4 hours. Once this is done you should be just fine!

I have two RCA HD52W59 TV's. I have had one for 3 years and one 4 years. The one I have had for 4 years is giving me the problem. Last week the tv turned off while watching it. It wouldnt come right back on. 10 minutes later we tried and it worked fine. the other night the kids were watching and it turned off and smelled like something burning. I tried turning it right back on and got no power at all. I tried to turn it on two days later and it made a buzzing noise and the green light went out. Never did get a picture, no powering up on the screen. Any ideas? Don't want to spend alot of money. Really loved the TV hope it isnt junk now. Better yet I hope the same thing doesnt happen to the other one I have.

check with a flashlight against the screen for picture, if present backlight inverter has failed.

• adjust brightness setting when playing tv.
• adjust screen control located on flyback transformer.
• hope this will help.
