Need to download installation to another computer I do not have the disk

Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X6170 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.

Ok try to hook and see if the system install it without a installation disk.

If this not resolve, then you have to find driver at lexmark websites.

Its simple connect the printer physically to the new computer than all you need to do in install the driver disk in the drive and follow the onscreen menu to install it once you finish the installation you will get an option to print test page and you are all set to go.

You need to download the driver software ( same you got in the disk ) from Lexmark website.
Download software into the computer where you are going to install the printer. It is important that you do not connect the printer before installing software.
Install the software downloaded and connect printer only when explicitly required by software setup program.
