I want to block one particular phone number from texting and calling me - how do I do this on the LG GW620

If you don't want to receive text or call from a particular person try this 1. ignore that person don't read his incoming message if only you can do that but make sure you memorize his number or assigned a code so that every time he text you already know who he is..2. If you don't wan to receive calls from that person if you that he is calling don't answer his calls or divert his calls to other number so every time he is calling his calls diverted to other number if you have a police number divert it there..and for the worst 3. Change your number and make sure he will never know again your new number so he won't be able to bother you again.. Hope it can help you..

I want to block particular number in nokia 7230. wat should i do??

Ring up your Service Provider (Optus, Telstra A&AT, Vodaphone...) and ask them to block the number that you would like blocked. They can do it very quickly and easily. If this person is harrassing you contact the police!
Hope this helps

I lost my mobile phone Nokia IEMI No. is 359312024561140 can you please trace it

There is no way of tracing your cell phone. You could try ringing your cell phone and hope that the person will return it to you.
If your mobile phone is lost or stolen you can inform your network provider with your IMEI number. Your cell phone provider can then put the serial number on a shared database. This list stops this particular phone from registering on any network and will be useless for anyone even if the mobile phone’s SIM card is changed!

When receiving a call my nokia 1661 displays private no even though the number calling is in the contacts list. Any idea what I need to tweak to sort this very annoying problem...?

it is not your handsets issue it is a features where if that particular individual subscribed for his number to be showed as private number to everyone whom he/she is calling. You cannot do anything it will show if that person activated this service and it will not show you the name. ask that person that he/she activated any kind of services for private number.

Please send me the details for 9998351268

I'd like to inform you that over here at fixya no one can reach upto the call history of phone connections. In order to get a call history of a particular number you will have to approach the phone provider in person and explain to him why you require the same. If anyone misfed you that on net it is available then he is wrong. No one other than the service provider has the reach to the call history of a particular number. Even if higher authorities require the usage of a particular number they have to approach the service provider only.

I have a nokia 3120 numbers not being reconized

Delete that particular number which has the problem from your phone book and save the number as and when the person calls or instead save the person's no prefixing the international code '+' and the country code to it. I think that should fix the issue.

Thanks n regards
