Firstly-check the needle is in correctly. If the needle is slightly bent it will not pick up the bottom thread. When top and bottom are threaded, pull the threads towards you. Hold the top thread between finger and thumb and hold but do not pull tight. Turn the flywheel towards you while holding the thread at a 45 degree andgle in front of you, upwards. You should feel it loop and give it a very gentle lift and pull as you feel it. There are some good videos of this on youtube Ive found which may help you-just search for "threading a sewing machine".If no manual supplied-contact either the seller or the manufacturer to get one.

How to time a singer 758 sewing machine? The needle is not picking up the bobbin tread.

remove all the plates around the needle and bobbin cover
slowly turn the machine until the needle is right at the bottom
not continue turning until the needle just starts to come back up
At this point the hook of the bobbin case should be just at or close to the needle eye
The bobbin position cannot be altered as the needle is the adjustment
That is done by loosening of the clamp in the needle bar and moving the needle crank up or down to get the correct position and then re-clamping the screw
Note here--make sure that you have the correct needle length in the machine as needle lengths do vary for different applications .

29k13not picking up thread

Take a look at the manual and make sure you have the bobbin going in the right direction in the bobbin case. Each sewing machine is different. On my Kenmore the bobbin drops in counter clockwise, on my old Universal KAB you have to the bobbin with the tread facing away from you when you slide it in the bobbin case then pull it through the slot and put ut under the tension spring. It is the same for the Brother Lx3125 as the Universal.

Remember the needle bar needs to be in the highest point. Make sure the horn goes into the slot in the shuttle race and is properly seated in the race.

The bobbin needs to be about 5 inches long and your upper tread also needs to about 5 inches long from the needles eye. Hold your upper thread tightly so that when it enters the needle plate hole it can catch the bobbin thread. Pull both of the threads beneath the presuure foot and toward the rear of the machine.

Im having trouble with the bobbin tread when i sow the bottom threadcomes out in big clumps and then jams the needle

Sounds like a threading mistake. Try this, thread the machine all the way to the needle but not the eye. Then lift the presser foot up and down and pull on the tread as you do that. You should have tension when the foot is down and not tension when it is up. If this is the case try sewing(should fix), if it is not the case your machine will need adjustment.

Bottom tread keeps jamming and getting all knoted up. The display gives me an E6 error code. what can i do

try re-threading your machine. usually when the machine is jammed at the bobbin or when the needle gets stuck to the bobbin thread, it means that there is an error with the thread. make sure that the thread isn't pulled through the wrong side of the needle, wrapped the wrong way around the wheels on the top, and that the bobbin is threaded correctly. if this doesn't work, you may want to contact their hotline.

Needle picks up bobbin thread but then thread gets stuck

I had exactly the same problem on the exact same model 3205FA. I'm not an expert, but have a little experience on solving my wife and daughter's sewing machine mechanical problems. I would suggest the following: A. Page 6 of the owners manual see item # 1...to be precise it is 1 1/2 times around. B. Page 7 at the bottom, Make sure the bobbin tension spring is set so that there is tension. When holding the tread the bobbin shouldn't unroll. If jiggled about 2-3 inches the bobbin should release about 1/3 of that distance. C. Page 8 at the bottom, ill. # 2. There are two flange holders and screws that hold the bobbin case in position located at about 5 and 7 o'clock. Make sure both screws are tight. This is important. D. Make sure the thread is treaded through the upper tension adjustment properly. See page 9 # Illustration C. Terrible illustration. Keep the dial generally in the green range. E. Put in a new needle, the needles that come with the machine are just short of terrible. Wouldn't hurt to buy good top quality needles for the machine.
