Black screen I was watching tv and all of the sudden the screen want black,still can hear sound but no pic. You can turn it off and back on but it will go back to the blace screen.Whats wrong with it?
You may either have bad DC filer caps for the 12~18vdc power supply section that supply the power to the backlight inverter board, or the inverter board is bad, worst case will be bad lamps. Check the 12~18vdc first.

Ur convergence is dying or well be dead.3D pics or shutdown.U must know how to solders? The parts in convergence board must change like ICS,and all it resistors.The websites Tv Repair World.com,Tvrepairkits.com for the convergence kit.The shop will cost u $300 for parts and labors.
